Clayton Hopkins, DC, DABFP

Clay Hopkins, DC, DABFP  has built a solid reputation since 1983 based on the sound principle of delivering professional, high-quality health care services in his Clinics. His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in Social and Behavioral Sciences followed by a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He is certified in Acupuncture and Manipulation Under Anesthesia.

He takes pride in moving aggressively to accurately diagnose his patient’s condition so an appropriate treatment plan can be determined by a team of professionals including diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, orthopedics, neurology, pain management, dental, psychological and psychiatric professionals.

He has achieved Diplomate Status with the American Board of Forensic Professionals making him the only Board Certified Forensic Chiropractor in the Tampa Bay area. This is one of the few certifications that meet the rigorous requirements of the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine and requirements mandated by Florida Statutes. Dr. Hopkins focuses his practice in the area of medico legal cases and is often called on for his testimony as an “expert” by the court system.  The Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine and the Florida Bar have approved Dr. Hopkins for providing continuing education classes to Chiropractic physicians as well as licensed Florida attorneys. He has testified in numerous cases in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Sarasota county Courts.

Dr. Hopkins was honored to be inducted as a Lifetime Perpetual Member of the International College of Chiropractic, Inc. in 2010. The organization was formed in 1938 to promote the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic and to promote the teaching and the study of chiropractic. The ICCI is a non profit organization that encourages a high code of ethics among practitioners, researchers, educators and others in the chiropractic profession.

The Fellow designation is bestowed upon those whose contributions have made or who will make significant impact upon the science of chiropractic and to those who render valuable and meritorious service to the profession.

He is a Certified Florida Workers Compensation Provider and Certified by the State of Florida to practice Acupuncture. He is the Past President of the American Board of Forensic Professionals, Past President of the Pinellas County Chiropractic Society and served as the Delegate representative to the American Chiropractic Association for the northern half of Florida for several years.

Dr. Hopkins recent professional vision has materialized in his current Clinic with the blending of traditional medical, chiropractic and physical therapy professionals to provide a comprehensive system for optimum care of his patients. As times change, Dr. Hopkins has demonstrated his ability to be the forerunner of the changing face of health care.  

Daniel Roode, DC

Dr. Daniel Roode is a chiropractic physician at Hopkins Clinic since 2012. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Roode graduated from Wright State University with honors before his life-long desire and commitment to help people brought him to a career as a chiropractor. He was accepted into the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago to acquire his doctoral degree in chiropractic. Before graduating, Dr. Roode was chosen as one of only two interns to head the university’s brand new campus clinic in St. Petersburg, Florida.

For years now Dr. Roode has been applying his expertise to treating those who have been injured in accidents. He also has experience with family and wellness care, but his passion remains in helping people overcome traumatic injuries and the difficulties they impose. Dr. Roode has exceeded the minimum requirements for continuing education and has advanced training and experience in forensic documentation, orthopedics, adjusting techniques, treating headaches, Graston technique, Kineso taping, spinal rehabilitation exercises and ergonomics. He is listed as a Certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation Examinations in the National Registry.

Dr. Fouad Raad

Dr. Fouad Raad joined Hopkins Clinic in February 2021 providing Chiropractic services to our patients. Dr. Raad was born in Beirut, Lebanon and moved to the United States in 2006 to attend the University at Buffalo. He graduated in 2012 with his Masters in Physiology and in 2018 from D’Youville College with his Chiropractic Doctorate and MBA. After practicing for several years in Trinity, FL and training in the multi faceted aspects of personal injury, he is excited to have moved to St. Petersburg and join the Hopkins Clinic Team. His friendly and professional demeanor is reassuring to the patients. In his free time, Dr. Raad enjoys engaging in sports and crossfit training, as well as traveling with his wife.

Breck Pribyl, MPT Physical Therapist

Breck Pribyl

Breck Pribyl is a board certified Physical Therapist at Hopkins Clinic. She has been working in the Tampa Bay area since 2005 and with Hopkins Clinic since 2014. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University and graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Masters of Physical Therapy. Breck is also a certified Pilates Instructor and a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner. Breck is a St. Petersburg native and was a nationally competitive gymnast for many years as well as a collegiate athlete. As a therapist she specializes in athletic injuries, core stability training, injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents, headache treatments, post-surgical rehab, vestibular therapy, body mechanics training and manual interventions. Breck is assisted by physical therapy assistants and a personal trainer in our office.
