Clay Hopkins, DC, DABFP
Clay Hopkins, DC, DABFP has built a solid reputation for over 30 years based on the sound principle of delivering professional, high-quality health care services in his Clinics. His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in Social and Behavioral Sciences followed by a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.
He takes pride in moving aggressively to accurately diagnose his patient’s condition so an appropriate treatment plan can be determined by a team of professionals including diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, orthopedics, neurology, pain management, dental, psychological and psychiatric professionals.
Justin Mitchell, DC
Dr. Justin Mitchell is a chiropractic physician at Hopkins Clinic. Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Mitchell graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Port Orange, Florida. He and his wife, also a chiropractor, moved to Florida six years ago to practice and raise a family. Dr. Mitchell has advanced training in chiropractic forensic methods as well as certification in acupuncture, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, and Kineso Taping. Dr. Mitchell is also listed in the National Registry as a Certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation Driver Examinations.
Daniel Roode, DC
Dr. Daniel Roode is a chiropractic physician at Hopkins Clinic. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Roode graduated from Wright State University with honors before his life-long desire and commitment to help people brought him to a career as a chiropractor. He was accepted into the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago to acquire his doctoral degree in chiropractic. Before graduating, Dr. Roode was chosen as one of only two interns to head the university’s brand new campus clinic in St. Petersburg, Florida. The other intern would later become Dr. Roode’s wife and also continues to practice as a chiropractor. They have been proudly treating patients in the Tampa Bay area ever since.
For years now Dr. Roode has been applying his expertise to treating those who have been injured in accidents. He also has experience with family and wellness care, but his passion remains in helping people overcome traumatic injuries and the difficulties they impose. Dr. Roode has exceeded the minimum requirements for continuing education and has advanced training and experience in forensic documentation, orthopedics, adjusting techniques, treating headaches, Graston technique, Kineso taping, spinal rehabilitation exercises and ergonomics. He is listed as a Certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation Examinations in the National Registry.
Brad Young, R.P.T. Physical Therapist
Brad Young, RPT is a registered physical therapist who has been practicing for over nine years. He is a native of the St. Petersburg area. He was trained internationally in the Netherlands with a strong emphasis on manual techniques. His main focus is concentrated on orthopedic disorders. With this strong background in functional activities, a great deal of his practice is made up of improving physical function through a closely supervised as well as self-directed home exercise program. He emphasizes spinal strength and core stabilization of the trunk muscles to allow for a firm base from which all other movements of the body are easily performed. He enjoys developing detailed individual programs with an emphasis on strengthening, stabilizing and conditioning. His work at Hopkins Clinic gives him the opportunity to provide services to a wide variety of patients from injuries related to automobile accidents and occupational accidents, postsurgical rehabilitation, and weight loss, as well as strengthening and conditioning for wellness programs. He is an avid boater and fisherman as well as enjoying free diving and scuba diving.

Payment Options & Information
Our services are offered on a cash basis and we accept checks, debit and credit card payments. We will submit your claim for services to your insurance company for you at no charge. Special arrangements are available for personal injury cases such as automobile crash injuries and slip and falls. Worker compensation cases are accepted with the insurance provider approval. Special understanding in hardship cases is also part of the office policy at Hopkins Clinic.
We believe financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this procedure. Being sensitive to the fact that different patients have different needs, we provide the following payment options: Cash or Check, & Credit Cards.
